Woman's wrapper, made of cotton. Plain weave with black and yellow cotton warp, with narrow red warp bands at either side. Supplementary patterns laid onto surface of cloth in thick green, white, yellow and red cotton thread secured by yellow warp threads. Loosely twisted warp thread fringes at either end.

- Woven by a woman on a vertical single-heddle loom with a continuous warp. Akwete cloths are renowned for their single width. The cloths are invariably wider at one end than the other.
