- Notes from Rebecca Jewell in July 2010:
This series of drawings were all made during fieldwork undertaken on Santa Cruz Islands, Solomon Islands 24th October to 17th November 2009.
The Campaign for Drawing sponsored three crates of art materials which were air freighted to Honiara and on to Lata, Solomon Islands.
Rebecca took art materials to use during her fieldwork and she ran workshops with weavers, wood carvers and shell ornament makers at the Kati Primary School.
