A small armless vest made from narrow weave indigo dyed cotton strips, hemmed around the neckline, armholes and bottom with strips of white cotton that have a trinagular design cut into the top edge. The shoulders, neck and front are decorated with hand embroidered panels; the two outside panels display the same design. The embroidery is excuted using red, green, yellow, white and orange silks. The patterns are abstract geometric combinations which are similar to those found on amulets, bags, containers and other artefacts.

- There is an old repair on a seam at the back of the neck and an unravelling seam running parallel to it.

- 2007,2023.1 to 18 were purchased from Sarah Fox-Pitt; they are recorded as "a collection of objects used by the Wodaabe (Fulani) people in Niger". All seem to have been made recently.
