- Bryan Cranstone's, British Museum fieldwork images, from an expedition in 1963 - 64.
The title of this box of slides reads: "N.G.D. 1964, TIFALMIN
People, Subsistence, Pigs, Houses + Villages, Technology".
Mount notes: this transparency was in a box with handwritten notes: "Dulkamin near Brolemavip 8/2/64". According to Cranstone the "the Dulkamin or Dulkatalmin, seem for practical purposes to be part of the Dubalmin though they may have had a different origin." This is from : "War Shields of the Telefomin Sub-District, New Guinea", B. A. L. Cranstone, Man, New Series, Vol. 3, No. 4 (Dec., 1968), p. 609, Published by: Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland.
