- Curator's comments
- This image is part of a collection of photographic images depicting scenes in Niue, Fiji and Tonga, several of which were photographed by Frederick Sears. See Oc,B85 and Oc,B86 and Oc,B88.
Related Image: This image has been photographed on the same wharf as Oc,B86.19.
The initial "D" photochemically inscribed in the lower right corner indicate that this image may have been made by one of the Dufty brothers (DRomanek); See also Oc,B85-18 and Oc,B85-19, Oc,B86.13. The inscription seems to be the same, as in these three other images, however this image shows a fuller inscription "DD". It is therefore unclear whether any of these images are actually photographed by the Dufty Brothers, or are in actual fact referring to something else, as yet unidentified.
