- The objects in this image are owned by the Musée du Quai Branly, Paris (formerly known as the Trocadero).
Mr Kenneth P Emory (named in inscription) made studies of objects in museum collections, including in Paris, and this photograph may have been collected by him and brought to the British Museum. The photograph itself was photographed by a photographic printing studio "A Cintract" in Paris. The reasoning behind the Bernice P Bishop Museum stamp is as yet unknown.
