- The canoe in this image is held in the British Museum's collection, number Oc1927,1022.1. It was collected around 1910 by R.Broadhurst-Hill and donated to the British Museum by the Lady Lever Art Gallery. The image is printed in D. Waite, 'Art and Ethnographica from the Solomon Islands in the Museum of Mankind' in T.C. Mitchell (ed), 'Captain Cook and the South Pacific', The British Museum Yearbook 3, London, British Museum Publications, 1979
