- Related information: This photograph was found in a cigarette tin, which was placed in a larger box with other cigarette tins and photograph sleeves. The other cigarette tins and photograph sleeves contain photographs from Asia, Africa and Europe.
The cigarette tin contains the following information:
the front reads, 'CORK TIPPED TRADE MARK VIRGINIA CIGARETTES' and has XXIV both scratched into the top of the tin and written onto a label.
the side of the tin reads, '50 CRAVEN A CORK - TIPPED MADE BY CARRERAS LTD, (EST 1788) LONDON, ENGLAND.' and has 'N.Z. Wairaki. Waiatapu, Whakarewa. Huka Falls. Arateatea.' written onto a label.
