- It is believed that this photo was taken during a trip with the "Whangaroa Swordfish and Big Gamefish Club" in 1932.
These photographs indicate that J M Booth made regular fishing trips with friends catching sharks and large fish.
The sharks/fish are labelled in white paint with their weight, who caught it, (the name of the boat during their fishing trip?), and the date it was caught.
