- The man in this image, likely 'Mr. Davis', is the same man as seen in image Oc,A50.9 and Oc,A50.12.
In his diary of 1936, Robert Lever talks about taking the trip, represented in this photo, with the date starting April 30, 1936. On that day he writes "Fine. Left after breakfast with Mr. Davis + 12 natives in a Packard from Balesuna + was driven to the end of the road at the Sorvohis (?) River. Walked up to Kavagombi (at 200') and collected after putting up with the (illegible)."
