From an album of 176 photographs in carte-de-visite format, by various photographers, including Lindt, Damman, Pulman and others, depicting depicting peoples of the Pacific, as well as Africa, Asia and South America..
The same distinctive blanket or fabric drape. with a dark line feature, has been used as a backdrop in Oc,A3.6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 19. This backdrop was apparently placed in front of a weatherboard wall, probably on the verandah of a building.
