- Curator's comments
- From an album of 176 photographs in carte-de-visite format, by various photographers, including Lindt, Damman, Pulman and others, depicting depicting peoples of the Pacific, as well as Africa, Asia and South America..
Association: The name "Franks" and the initials "A F " on image Oc,A3.99 indicate a possible connection with Augustus Wollaston, which would also then be potentially associated with the other Suriname images grouped together in this album.
