South east corner of the eastern court showing House B with figures between the two stairways.Gorgonio Lopez is standing on the extreme left on step at the top; several other workmen on site. - The ruins of Palenque are situated in the Mexican State of Chiapas. They stand on a narrow shelf on the northern slope of the foothills of the Sierra de las Naranjas.
