Curator's comments: In front of Am,A34, a content page was found assigned the BM number: Am,A34.1 (now in the PicDoc) with a list of Jackson Catalogue numbers associated with the photographic portraits located in Am,A34 as well as amendments handwritten in ink (transcribed in brackets below). The page reads: "SHOSHONES, OR SNAKES [Shoshonee] Idaho Territory. Nos. 657, 658. VILLAGE IN SOUTH PASS.[? ? River, Wyoming Territory] Nos. 659, 660. WAR-CHIEF'S TENT. Nos. 661, 662.
