Main themes of album: Views of colonial stations or outposts, including residential, industrial and prison buildings. Portraits of indigenous people and views of local settlements.
Geography: "Illushi" is the description which acompanies the image in the album. I do not know if it is a place-name or the name of an ethnic group. H. Cornwall-Jones, 02/06/1995.

- The photographs are mounted on cards which are bound into an album. The album card is very acidic, and is breaking in places. There is foxing on the album card and on some photographs.
