Curator's comments
Brown 1980 states: Princess Charlotte married Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg in 1816. The ceremony took place at 9 p.m. on the 2nd May at Carlton house. The following year Charlotte died in childbirth on the 19th November. See also notes to Brown 1 p97.409 and p187.778. Bibliography: Fiala, E.
