- Brown 1980 states:
The British Museum has a uniface coppered white metal trial piece of the obverse of this piece (see registration no. M.5332). The bust is somewhat smaller, there is a button above of the lapel of the jacket and the left hand end of the ribbon is not rolled over. The ribbon is inscribed DIED AT SOHO . M . 180- AGED- 00 Ys. O . Ms ODs. It is possible that these medals were restruck after Küchler's death. See J. G.
