The Pope in public consistory, presiding enthroned. On either side, six cardinals are seated, in the centre are three clerks, members of the clergy, and two laymen. Behind cardinals, the public; below, Barbo arms surmounted by crossed-keys and tiara. Chaste border. (obverse)

Christ in glory, in mandorla of cherubs' heads, held by two angels issuing from the clouds; in the heavens are seen the Saints, Sun, Moon and Stars. In the lower part are Doctors of the church seated; below on an altar or tomb, are emblems of the Passion (column, nails, lance, sponse in a cleft stick, and two scourges) and above them two angels issuing from the clouds. On either side, the dead rising from graves to the sound of trumps blown by two angels. On the left of the altar, the Virgin to the right, St John Baptist. Chase border. (reverse)
