Lucky red envelope ['hong bao' in Mandarin; 'lai see' in Cantonese]. Printed in multi-colour and gold on red. Chinese textile patterns are used as a background pattern on the obverse and folded over on to the reverse. Chinese coins (with good luck inscriptions) create the pattern on the flap. (whole)
