Chairman Mao badge. (whole)

Three-quarter bust of Mao (in gold) facing left on red sun background, with an upper background of stippled gold, and lower background in white. Mao wears a double-breasted overcoat with seven buttons visible, his right arm raised, palm showing, his left arm behind his back. To left (below his arm) are Jinggangshan, Yan'an and Tian'anmen, all in gold. Below Mao is a red bar with the dates
1921–1969, and a gold hammer and sickle between the two dates. At lower left are branches of plum blossom in gold and yellow. (obverse)
