Struck silver medal.

Geography as a young woman, partially draped, seated on a rock in profile to right, taking measurements with compasses from a terrestrial globe which she supports on her left thigh, a scientific instrument on the ground beside her; to left a landscape with a bear, a ship in the distance and a shining star above; to right, a landscape with a clump of palm trees, a succulent, a man riding a dromedary, and a ship in the distance, set against a large sun emanating rays in the background.
