Struck bronze octagonal medal. (whole)

Centre, a fasces surmounted by a cap of liberty with wreath of laurel (?); left and right, cornucopias leaning upright against the fasces, there contents spilling out at the base either side, overlapping the exergual line of the medal; exiting upwards from behind the fasces, a branch of olive, left, and a branch of oak, right. (obverse)

Within a circle formed by a serpent biting its own tail, a set of scales and in front of it, a double faced tablet on which is inscribed, 'CONSTITUTION DE L'AN TROIS'. (reverse)
