- The medal is described as being made from lead salvaged from the Bastille, which was demolished in 1792. This medal was made by Moisson after the famous medal by Bertrand Andrieu, and distributed in 1792 under the direction of 'Patriot Palloy'. 800 examples were made.
Variant of Hennin 1826, 26, p.18, reverse has worn away.
