- Medallic Illustrations 2, published in 1885, states:
Extremely rare.
The type of the reverse of this medal by Christian Wermuth is taken from the one commemorating Anne's accession (See Medallic Illustrations 2, p227.1), but varying a little in the arrangement of the design, and adding the date of the coronation.
See Rapin de Thoyras, Paul, ‘The Metallick History of the Reigns of William III and Queen Mary, Queen Anne, and King George I. [N. Tindal’s edition.], London, 1747, i. 6; Van Loon, Gerard, ‘Histoire Métallique des XVII. Provinces des Pays-Bas’, 5 vol.
