A probably nineteenth century, aftercast from a pierced example.
The portrait is simply an enlarged copy of that on Guillaume's medal of the same year (see registration no. G3,SavM.7).
For an example of this medal (108 mm) signed by F. Dupré, 1636, see Morton and Eden 13-14/12/2005, lot 614.
