Centre, a winged male cherubic figure takes flight from atop a pedestal in the centre of a courtyard, a depiction of the Temple in Paris where Louis XVII was imprisoned; the cherub's right arm is outstretched, upwards, holding aloft a crown, and in his left, a royal baton; on the base of the pedestal are depicted wilting flowers, presumably lilies, symbolic of the French Bourbons, and above, a wreath with three fleurs de lis within; the pedestal is draped in cloth and with a pair of manacles.
