Porcelain Wine-cup. Decorated in doucai style, with underglaze blue washes and outlines, and overglaze red, yellow, green, aubergine and dark brown enamels. Design on the exterior of fungus motifs alternating with segments of floral sprays. Pair with B708.

Doucai cup with linghzi fungus
Four 靈芝 (lingzhi ‘longevity fungi’) are painted in medallions in underglaze blue and in-filled in overglaze enamels around the outside of this small cup. Coloured enamels of the Chenghua period are lighter and more delicately applied than these. Archaeologists’ discovery of a rubbish heap of a large number of broken and rejected genuine Chenghua porcelains at the imperial kiln site at Jingdezhen revolutionised scholars’ knowledge of patterns and forms of doucai . This example was made in the eighteenth rather than the fifteenth century. It has a six-character Yongzheng mark in a double rectangle in underglaze blue on the base.

鬥彩靈芝紋杯
這件小杯外壁以釉下青花和釉上彩繪結合，繪有四枝靈芝（長壽之芝）。成化時期的彩繪相比而言更為淺淡，施彩更雅致。考古學家在景德鎮御窯遺址發現了落選打碎的真正成化瓷器的廢品堆積，極大豐富了學者們對鬥彩瓷器器形和裝飾的知識。本件瓷器作於十八世紀而非十五世紀。外底雙方框內署青花六字雍正年款。
