Porcelain covered box of circular flattened form. There is a 'mille fleurs' design in 'famille rose' palette enamel on the exterior of both the lid and the base, a five-clawed dragon on the interior of the lid, and floral sprays on the interior of the base.

This box is decorated with fencai (powdered colours) and gilding with tiny flowers in a technique popular with Venetian glassmakers.

- Hobson, Rackham and King 1931 record in the Charles Russell Collection. Lady David 1973 records the box was probably made in 1915 at Jingdezhen.
