Room 95 label text: PDF 78 Bronze-shaped vase with celadon glaze This vase combines the shape of an ancient bronze with the glaze of Song dynasty guan ware, recreated on a porcelain body. This combination of an interest in the antique and a desire to experiment and create something new is a fundamental part of Chinese culture. This example was made in the late Qing dynasty. Porcelain with celadon glaze Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province江西省, 景德鎮 Qing dynasty, about 1800–1911
