Room 95 label text: PDF 687 Set of five cups with flower heads As demand for the court declined, Jingdezhen potters eagerly accepted orders from middle-class customers in China, as well as exporting wares to the Middle East, Europe and Japan. These cups are table wares which were made in sets of five for Japanese clients. The bases have four-character underglaze blue Tianqi reign marks.
