Amulet: golden metal keyring with wide golden chain, a bell and a pale orange plastic gourd hanging from it. The gourd is designed so that if one looks through the narrow top towards a light, an image of the deity Monju riding a mythical lion appears in the bottom of the gourd framed by writing with the name of the deity and place-names, Amanohashidate and Monju-do.

- Curator's comments
- This amulet both promotes longevity and health through the symbolism of the dried gourd and wards off evil with the sound of the bells. Although it combines conventional amuletic symbols, these have been adapted to a modern design.
