- Curator's comments
- This type of handkerchief can be found in the smaller souvenir shops of most regions and will be printed with a map of the relevant region. Some people collect them to create an overall map of Japan with the places they have been to, but in 2001 shop assistants were noting that it was one of the least popular souvenirs.
