Neck-piece; part of girl's festival costume As.1998.1.46 to 53. Constructed in two rectangles from cotton and red damask backed with paper, with wooden support. Acts as a collar to collar-less jacket. Front rectangle tucks into waistband and is not embroidered. Rear rectangle is decorated with three-dimensional flowers. Collar has fringe of fake pearls, metal beads and balls.
