Skirt; part of married woman's festival costume As.1998.1.40 to 45, worn with storage binding belt As.1998.1.44.b. Pleated, with cotton base cloth in dyed indigo. Added triple edging at hem in yellow, pink and faded purple cotton. Waistband in natural cotton. Decorated with coloured rolled edges and two lines of hand embvroidery in light blue silk.

- Cloth was brought white and dyed with plant indigo. Demonstration on collection to show skirt was pleated round a large rice basket, set with rice starch. A high quality skirt, not typical of what was made in 1996 in Moyang village.
