Jacket; from woman's festival costume. Base cloth of hand-woven cotton dyed indigo to dark blue. Decorated with silvery and soft purple and watery blue embroidery. Woven wool cloth on front. Similar design to As.1998.1.352. Folded silk applique detail, sequin decoration.

- Text from Corrigan 2001: 53: taijiang county, qiandongnan prefecture. Woman's Festive Jacket. Collared jacket with a central front opening, with decoration on the sleeves, shoulders, neck and front facings. The base cloth is hand-woven cotton, indigo-dyed to a dark blue. There is no inner lining. The finely drawn and detailed decorated panels are embroidered in floss silk in satin stitch over papercuts.
