Skirt; part of woman's festival costume As.1998.1.327 to 330. Loosely pleated, constructed as waistband of unbleached cotton; with main section of hand-woven cotton and another fibre dyed dark indigo and gathered into waistband; with lower section of narrow width of cloth with selvedge at bottom.

- This costume is a type worn by older women - younger tend to wear pink. Probably made circa 20-30 years ago when owner was young.
