Baby carrier; constructed in T-shape in one long continuous piece of hand-woven cotton with woven pattern. Below is a rectangle of cotton dyed black with a continuous binding joining one part to the other. Decorated on rear with central panel of fine silk embroidered in blues, greens and geometric patterns, framed with hand-woven strips and applied silk satin. Flap is in brown/green cotton with circular design in cross stitch in green silk. Band has close woven textured pattern of black supplementary wefts; at each end this is a more open pattern of rectangles in black on off-white, with a knotted fringe.
