Pair of gaiter ties; from married woman's market day costume As.1998.1.246 to 250 a & b. Base cloth of unbleached cotton, hand-woven, and constructed of wide doubled-over cloth. Decorated at ends with black supplementary weft pattern with, at intervals, red and green manufactured man-made cloth sewn on.
