Skirt; part of woman's festival costume As.1998.1.208 to 216. New, unworn, seven pleating draw strings still in place. Waistband of unbleached manufactured cotton. Central band with wax resist pattern dyed indigo; pattern organised in horizontal bands with plain line between. Centre band has rectangle of different patterns with border pattern between. Lower band of skirt has borders of cross stitch patterns in yellow and red with white and green acrylic 'wool'.
