Back skirt; part of woman's market and minor festival costume As.1998.1.164 to 169 a & b. Base cloth of hand-spun, hand-woven cotton, indigo dyed to almost black, with sheen. No decoration. Constructed of three widths of cloth seamed and roughly pleated into a narrow waistband with extends to form ties on either side.
