Belum (image of a tew, i.e., malevolent spirit) (with spear); carved of sago palm pith; a) male human figure, seated cross-legged, flame-like head-dress on head, hair carved, cross-hatching on face, torso carved with scales, wings on back, left hand on chest, right hand raised to hold spear; represents the air spirit Dalong Langit; b) model spear: rounded handle with flat blade of spear carved to point.
