Male shadow puppet, made of hide with three wooden and bamboo handles attached to body and movable arms. Painted green, red, yellow, flesh, white, black. Carved. Probably the character Saliya.

- M L J Lemaire was a Tribal Art dealer based in Amsterdam. He acquired the shadow puppets from a Dutch colonial official who had been based in Bali and returned to the Netherlands with the puppets just after the First World War.
