Shrine with double doors containing figures of the deities Fudo Myo-o (right) and Aizen Myo-o. Made of lacquered and painted wood.

- Both deities are manifestations of Dainichi Nyorai. Aizen, with open mouth, represents the material world of the five elements (air, water, ether, fire and earth), while Fudo, with closed mouth, indicates the spiritual world, or the universe of ideas. (RMAB, Jul 2009)

- The pieces of the shrine have come apart, and the base, top, and one (hinged) door are missing; the flames behind Fudo are damaged; Aizen is missing an arm and the ornamentation is damaged. [RMAB, 28/5/2009]
