A woman's work bag. Shaped like a wide-necked flask, and made of reindeer fur and strips of tabby woollen cloth. Top third of bag has fur on the inside; the remainder has it on the outside, with the back of the bag undecorated. The front is decorated with applied strips of red and two tones of blue woollen cloth with nap (a single yellow piece), stitched into a horizontal band and in vertical lines below, ladder-like. A small, conical shaped pouch at left side, to hold a thimble (donor information).

- Paper label with object [written by donor]: 'Womans' work-bag. Reindeer fur and braid. The little pouch to the right of the ornate side is to hold a thimble (made in England or Germany as the case may be).
