Basket (model; for ancestor's bones) made of woven strips of split cane; wide circular mouth with thicker bamboo band bound to rim, narrowing towards square base on four bamboo feet; narrow band of black split cane around middle of basket and around lower section.

- Register: 'Lushai Hills. Neatly made basket of split cane with large mouth and cover in form of a pyramid. Leaning [?] towards at base and standing on four bamboo feet. Model of a Lushai basket in which the bones of deceased ancestors are left. Given by J.H. Lorrain Esq. 18th November 1899.'
