- Description

A man's outer coat with hood, but no opening, front or back. Falls below the knee; slightly flared in shape. Made of cream coloured fur; not lined with fur. A band of mid-brown fur (much missing) 26 cms above hemline. Sleeve cuffs covered with red tabby woollen cloth. Narrow strips of this cloth, trimmed with fur, stitched to upper side, back. Some fur has worn away, revealing skin, especially at lower back.

Found in Americas "Unnumbered" Q collections, where registered in error as Q1972Am.1. Subsequently moved to Asia collections where re-registered in error as Q1986As.11. (AMD,6/1996).
