A man's inner coat; knee-length, flared in shape. Made from mid-brown fur, worn on the inside. Outer skin pale cream in colour. At bottom of coat is an 18 cms deep flounce made of cream-coloured fur (longer length than inside); not lined. Hood has drawstring; not lined. Mid-brown fur mittens stitched to sleeve ends. Band of red tabby wool cloth stitched above fur flounce and at sleeve ends. Narrower red, green and black tabby woollen bands on front of mittens. Much of fur on flounce has worn away, revealing cream-coloured skin (with holes) beneath
