"Mandau"; the blade convex on one side, bone handle rattan grip and gutta percha mount. sheath of fine brown wood, with carved panel at the top & cane edges. the back ornamented with fur, coloured horse hair, a tooth &c. & contains a long handled knife, with bone end; waist belt of rattan, with hornbill's beak as a toggle.
