- Curator's comments
- Register comment: 'Asia. India or Ceylon [Sri Lanka]? Boomerang shaped, flat ivory weapon, the smaller end terminating with an oval knob. Both faces are slightly convex, or thinned off at the edges, one being slightly more so than the other, and the blade has a slight curve towards one of them. The blade is 3/8in thick in the middle of the large end and is nearly the same (or rather less) from end to end. Presented by A.W. Franks Esq. June 9, 1869 (From the Coll. of the late Sir Emerson Tennent).'
