Diptych print, colour woodblock. The kabuki actors Nakamura Fukusuke I as Yaegushi no Saizo (right), and Iwai Kumesaburo III as Shirokiya Okoma (left), in the play ‘Nushi to musubi musume hyobanki’, or ‘Myoto musubi musume hyobanki’, or ‘Meo to musubi musume hyobanki’, or ‘Koitsumaobi musume hyobanki’ (恋夫帯娘評判記) by Sakurada Jisuke III; performed at the Nakamura-za in the 4th month of 1858 (Ansei 5).
